Lakota Children’s Enrichment receives Grant from Scarsdale Rotary Club

We are proud to announce that Lakota Children’s Enrichment received a $4,400 grant from the Scarsdale Rotary Club in May 2017. LCE founder Maggie Dunne, received the grant at a luncheon for Scarsdale Rotary Club grantees on May 2. At this event, Dunne thanked the Scarsdale Rotary Club for their continued support, and updated the members on LCE’s programs and plans for the spring/summer 2017 –including the recent announcement of the winners of the annual Pine Ridge writing and art contest, and plans for the upcoming second TEDxYouth@DinosaurPark conference set to take place in Rapid City, SD July 2017.

Lakota Children’s Enrichment is proud to be one of the five designated charity beneficiaries from the Scarsdale Rotary Club’s annual Food & Wine Tasting Fundraiser in Scarsdale, NY. The Scarsdale Rotary Club is dedicated to the motto,“Service Above Self,” and they perform numerous acts of service for the local and international community each year.  We thank all of our members that supported both Lakota Children’s Enrichment and the Scarsdale Rotary Club by attending the successful fundraiser this spring.

If you were not able to attend this event, but would like to support our work, then please consider making a donation today.
