Youth Service America (YSA) is looking for Youth Ambassadors ages 16-22 for its National Child Awareness Month (NCAM) program. The year-long Ambassador program allows YOU to become a community leader and to raise awareness about the issues that YOU think are most important.
NCAM Youth Ambassadors earn a $1,000 donation to a nonprofit to fund a special project in their community AND an all expenses paid trip to Washington DC for leadership training and an opportunity to meet other Youth Leaders and elected officials. The last two NCAM Ambassadors for the State of South Dakota were LCE Youth Advisory Board Members Keith Martinez and Bobby Pourier!
One Youth Ambassador will represent each state. The application asks YOU to propose a project that YOU will run in your community (of course, we’ll help).
