The search has begun! Lakota Children’s Enrichment is lOOKing for a crop of interns for the summer of 2015.
LCE’s summer internship program is an excellent opportunity for a small number of young leaders committed to issues of social justice to contribute, learn, and grow in their commitment to advancing issues of social justice and equality.
Each intern will complete projects or support a core function of the organization, in collaboration with mentors. We are a small team so you can expect lots of hands on experience!
Examples of past intern projects range from fundraising work, developing campaign materials for programs and grassroots initiatives, working with youth to define goals for special projects, mentoring youth, blogging, data input, and supporting LCE’s administrative, social media, videography and graphic design needs.

This is an upaid internship based out of our Scarsdale NY office, located immediately adjacent to the Metro North Train Station on the Harlem line. We will do all that we can to provide accepted applicants with financial assistance to offset travel, parking and train expenses.
Many universities provide stipends, scholarships or credit for students devoting the summer months to nonprofit or public service work, so please check with your school to see if you are eligible for a stipend or credit.
